Act&Sorb to receive €2 million in transformation aid from the Flemish government
Flemish Minister of Economy Hilde Crevits confirmed that 2 million euro in transformation aid will be granted to Act&Sorb. The grant will contribute to the construction of a unique recycling solution for wood residues in Genk, in Belgium.New production facility
The planned facility in Genk to which the €2million grant contributes, will be built according to the latest standards. The production process will be completely self-sufficient after start-up, and will even produce renewable energy and heat, enough to provide electricity to 5090 families in the region.
Act&Sorb is aiming for the direct employment of 40 people on the site in Genk, both process operators and engineers, as well as people in sales, back office and R&D.
